 Since
its establishment in 1963, by founder and now Chairman, Mr.
A.L. Gibson, A.L.G. Investments (Wigan) Ltd has been involved
in many aspects of the Building, Leisure and Commercial Letting
industries.
A.L.G. Investments (Wigan) Ltd has been responsible for the
erection of more than 7,500 residential properties, together
with a large estate agency business, throughout the North
West.
Since the mid 1960's A.L.G. Investments (Wigan) Ltd has broadened
its horizons by building and renovating office and retail
properties for private clients with some retained by the company
to let to third parties on commercial leases.
In 1980 A.L.G. Investments (Wigan) Ltd provided the core Private
Sector Funding to enable phase 1 of the restoration of the
world famous Wigan Pier complex. In so doing this allowed
A.L.G. Investments (Wigan) Ltd to rebuild the Grade 2, Georgian,
Terminus Building into its group headquarters.
